Moderation & Appeals
How content is reviewed, and how to appeal. The principle is simple: AI assists, humans decide.
1. What we action
Clearly illegal or abusive content is blocked or removed. Borderline cases are queued for human review rather than auto-removed.
2. AI’s role
AI flags and filters at submission. It never issues bans or final decisions; a human makes the call on contested cases.
3. Notice
Where feasible, you’ll be told what was actioned and why.
4. Appeals
Request human review by emailing connect@ayvacosmoverse.org within 30 days. A different reviewer will handle it where possible.
5. Proportionality
We take the least-restrictive action that fits, escalating only for repeated or severe breaches. There are no automatic permanent bans.
6. Transparency
We aim to publish periodic moderation summaries in a Transparency Centre.
7. Protected speech
Legitimate criticism is never, by itself, a violation.
