Privacy Notice

How AYVA (operated by Ayva Cosmo Verse Org) collects, uses and protects information. AYVA does not sell your data and does not run ads. This is a draft pending review by a qualified privacy professional.

1. What we collect

  • Content you post (ideas, arguments, votes, replies) — this is public.
  • Account details when accounts launch: your name and email (used for magic-link sign-in).
  • Technical logs: IP address and basic browser data, used for security and rate-limiting.
  • Essential cookies for sessions and preferences; optional analytics cookies only if you consent.

2. How we use it

To operate the platform and display public contributions; to prevent spam and abuse (honeypot, rate limits); to send sign-in links and notifications (once accounts launch); and to improve the service.

3. AI processing

Public idea and argument text is sent to Anthropic (Claude API) to generate the Challenge Protocol and Connections. We do not send your email or IP address to the AI. See the AI & Data-Use Notice.

4. Storage & retention

Data is stored in files on our hosting provider (GoDaddy). We keep daily backups for roughly 30 days. Public contributions remain until removed by you or by moderation.

5. Sharing

We don’t sell personal data. We share only with providers needed to run AYVA (hosting, email delivery, AI processing, and — for consenting visitors — Google Analytics) and where required by law.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your contributions or account by emailing connect@ayvacosmoverse.org. Your specific rights depend on the laws of India.

7. Children

AYVA is not directed to children under 18. See our Child-Safety Policy.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in, language and security — these are always on because the site needs them. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These analytics cookies are set only if you click “Accept analytics” on the banner; if you decline, none are set. We never use analytics for advertising or profiling, and you can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies. Analytics data is processed by Google under its own terms.

9. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls and backups. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
